Rajshahi University Admission Application Eligibility

In 2021 and 2022, students who have passed HSC/Equivalent, Diploma in Commerce, BFA (Pre), HSC (Vocational), A Level and other equivalent examinations under Bangladesh Technical Education Board can apply for Rajshahi University Admission Test. Candidates who have BFA (Pre) degree can apply because the results are current and traditional. Candidates having BFA (Pre) degree must have marks sheet. Students who have passed Diploma in Engineering from technical educational institutions under Board of Technical and Madrasa Education can apply to their eligible units. Candidates passing Diploma in Engineering should have GPA of 5.00.

• A minimum GPA of 3.00 in both SSC/Equivalent and HSC/Equivalent examinations (including 4th subject) and total GPA of 7.00 in both examinations passed from Humanities stream.
• Passed SSC/Equivalent and HSC/Equivalent from Commerce stream with a minimum GPA of 3.50 in both examinations (including 4th subject) and aggregate GPA of 7.50 in both examinations.
• Passed SSC/Equivalent and HSC/Equivalent from Science stream with a minimum GPA of 3.50 in both examinations (including 4th subject) and GPA of 8.00 in both examinations.

In GCE O level examination 5 subjects, at least 2 in A level examination and at least 4 out of 7 subjects in both O level and A level examination must get B grade and remaining 3 subjects with C grade.

Note: Candidates who have cleared the English version of the exam will have their questions translated into English, if applicable. Candidates who wish to appear in the English version of the exam should mention it in the appropriate box in the application form at the time of application.

Rajshahi University admission in 2022-23 session

The HSC 2022 exam is based on the short syllabus that is taken in the exam. In that Short Syllabus admission test will be conducted in Graduate/Graduate Honors Class in the academic year 2022-23. Candidates of Humanities, Commerce and Science streams who have passed HSC examination in 2021 and 2022 can apply for the three units A, B and C of Rajshahi University. Candidate must have passed in Humanities, Commerce and Science from the subject while applying for admission.

Rajshahi University Admission Test Marks

Rajshahi University admission test will be held with 100 marks. University Admission Test The admission test will be conducted in MCQ format. Duration of admission test is 1 hour i.e. 60 minutes and each unit will have 80 questions. Rajshahi University admission test has negative marking. 1 mark will be deducted from the marks obtained by the candidate for 4 wrong answers. Rajshahi admission exam pass mark is 40. Also unit/department/institute terms and conditions are applicable. Quota Participating Candidates have to apply Quota based as per the instructions given online.

Rajshahi University admission test is divided into three units A, B and C. RU will take this admission test by dividing it into three units A, B and C. Here is the application fee to be paid for applying in 3 units A, B and C. Total application fee including final application fee and 10% service charge to be paid online.

• A Unit (Humanities) : 1200 + 120 Taka = 1320 Taka
• B Unit (Trade) : 1000 + 100 Tk = 1100 Tk
• C Unit (Science): 1200 + 120 Tk = 1320 Tk

Rajshahi University Admission Test Date

Applicants can participate in the admission test of the unit in which they are selected. University authorities have published the admission test date. The admission test will be conducted on this published date. This admission test will be held on 29, 30 and 31 May 2023. RU examination will be conducted in four shifts.

• From 9:00 AM to 10:00 AM
• From 11:00 AM to 12:00 PM
• From1:00 PM to 2:00 PM
• From 3:30 PM to 4:30 PM

Rajshahi University Admission Test Admit Card 2023

Rajshahi University authorities will select the qualified candidates from among the initial applicants. Among the primary applicants, 72,000 people and the quota-admitted candidates will be selected for the entrance examination. And these selected candidates have to complete the application by paying the final application fee at the time published on the university website. After paying the final application fee, the candidates can download their admit card from the official website of the university. Admission test of RU cannot be attended without admit card.
