MIST Admission Result 2022 has been published recently. Bangladesh Military Institute of Science and Technology admission test results 2022 have been published today. Undergraduate admission results have been published on the official admission website admission mist ac bd.

The results of the admission test along with the waiting list have been published. The successful candidates will be informed about the result through SMS as well. Candidates who have passed have to complete the admission process within the given time period.

MIST Admission Test results

The undergraduate admission test of the Bangladesh Military Institute of Science and Technology was held on 18 March 2021. The admission test of the A unit’s engineering was held from 10:00 am to 12:00 pm. The admission test of the B unit’s architecture was held from 2:30 to 4:30 p.m.

This year’s written test was held in Dhaka and outside Dhaka. Apart from Dhaka, admission tests were held in Comilla, Chittagong, Khulna, and Bogra.

Earlier a shortlist was prepared for participating in the admission test. The list of eligible candidates was published on 6 March 2022. The Admit Card for shortlisted candidates was published on 7 March.

The admission test result is released at the end of the admission test on the given date. The Waiting list has also been published with the Merit list. The Admission will be completed from the published merit list and waiting list.

MIST Admission Test Result 2021-22

The Bangladesh Military Institute of Science Technology MIST Admission Test Result 2022 has been made on the basis of the written test result completely. SSC / Equivalent and HSC / Equivalent results were not considered in the preparation of the merit list.

Candidates in the A unit and B unit who got 40% marks in the written test are considered to have passed. Also, those who got A- (minus) in Biology at HSC or equivalent level have been selected for Biomedical Engineering.

A merit list has been prepared by deducting 5% from the written test number of those who passed the admission test last year. The department has been allotted on the basis of written test marks as well. Various quotas have been followed in the preparation of the merit list and waiting list. Quotas include general quotas, military wards, freedom fighter quotas, and tribal quotas as well.

MIST Admission Notice 2021-2022

Admission Schedule: Selected candidates are called up for admission in MIST from 25 March 2022 to 27 March 2022 (from 9 AM to 3 PM).

Online Pre – Registration Formalities:

  • Candidates must complete the Pre-Registration Formalities before coming for MIST admission.
  • Candidates must login to admission.mist.ac.bd using MIST Admission Test Roll Number, User ID and Date of Birth. For security reason, please don’t disclose your login information to others. This may lock your account, delay the admission process and void MIST admisson.
  • After login, candidates must fill up forms and confirm his/ her pre-registration. Without confirmation, candidates won’t be able to download the required admission forms. After that download and color print all forms available online in A4 size pages.
MIST Admission Result 2022

Required Forms and Documents: Candidates have to submit the following documents and forms to the Admission Desk on the date of admission:
a.    Certificate and Transcript of SSC or Equivalent Examination – original copy (one set) and attested photocopy (one set).
b.    Certificate/ Testimonial and Transcript of H.S.C. or Equivalent Examination – original copy (one set) and attested photocopy (one set).
c.    Nationality Certificate from Union Porishod Chairman or Ward Commissioner – one copy.
d.    Recently taken passport size colored photographs of candidate- four copies (two copies for admission and two copies for opening bank account).
e.    Recently taken passport size colored photographs of father/mother or nominee of the candidate- one copy (for opening bank account).

The followings documents are required as well:
(1)    For the Freedom Fighters Quota – The Gazettes/temporary certificate issued by Ministry of Liberation War Affairs/LalMuktibarta/Indian List/Certificate from Bangladesh Mukti Jodha Sangsad and relationship certificate with a freedom fighter.
(2)    For the Military Quota-
(a)    Serving: Certificate from CO/ equivalent or his representatives.
(b)    For Retired:-
(i)    Officers: Certificate from CORO/ Naval Secretariat or Air Secretariat.
(ii)    JC.’O/ OR/ NC(K) of Army/ Navy/ Air Forces: Certificate or Service Record Book from respective Arms/Service’s Record Offices/Drafting office.
(3)    For Children of Government Employees (Serving or Retired). ‘In Government Service Certificate’ – original copy signed by respective Head of Office/ Officer in Charge/ Department Head / Head of Institution or Equivalent for serving parents. Retirement-related documents’ (like release order, LPR, etc) – original copies issued by the respective office of retired parents.

h.   MIST Admission Form (UGADM-001) for B.Sc. Engineering (Available online).
j.    BUP Registration Form (UGADM-002) for B.Sc. Engineering (Available online).
k.   Four Copies of Payment Slip (UGADM-003) – (available online).
l.    Documents Receipt and Department Choice Form (UGADM-004) -Two Copies i.e., MIST Copy and a Student Copy (available online).
m.   Medical Clearance Form (UGADM-005) – One copy (available online).
n.    For opening an account in Trust Bank (Mandatory), the candidates must bring 3 copies of passport size photograph (02 copies of the candidate and one copy of father/mother/nominee) and an attested photocopy of Birth Certificate/ National ID Card.
p. Application form for Student’s Hall Admission (UGOH-OOl) – this is Optional (available online).
q- In Government Service Certificate (UGADM-006) (available online as well).

Fees: While filling up the ‘Payment Slip Form (UGADM-003)’ applicable fees will be automatically generated as per the candidate’s category (Government/Non-Government Service). Candidates shall have to deposit the following fees to the Trust Bank booth located at MIST during their admission:
a.    Children of Government Employees: Taka 93,150.00/- (Female) and taka 93,550.00/- (Male) for selected candidates as admission and other academic fees (for 1st Term / 06 months only). This financial package will be applicable for serving / retired military or civilians who will deposit the documents mentioned in para 4(g). If any dispute arises regarding government employees, the decision of the MIST Authority is final.
b.    Others (Except Children of Government Employees): Taka 1,11,150.00/- (Female) and taka 1,11,550.00/- (Male) for other selected candidates as admission and other academic fees (for 1st Term / 06 months only).
c.    Hall Charge (Optional): Taka 13,800.00/- (Thirteen Thousand Eight Hundred and Fifty Only) for candidates who want to stay in the Student’s Hall of Residence (Osmany Hall). Application Form (UGOH-001) for Student’s Hall Admission ( this is optional) is available in the MIST website online Admission link. Interested candidates need to submit this application during admission. Upon availability of seats and other factors, if approved by the Hall Authority, desirous students have to pay the ‘Hall Charge’ within 15 days period after admission. All the Details regarding other monthly charges are available with the Hall Authority.

Payment: There are two payment methods mentioned below:
a.    Payment at MIST.
(1)    Through the Trust Bank.
Step-1. Deposit applicable fees in cash to the Trust Bank Authority at MIST.
Step-2. Collect the Bank Deposit Slip and submit it to Account Booth.
Step-3. Open a Trust Bank Account (this is Mandatory).
(2)    Through Online Banking services. Interested candidates can also pay the applicable fees to any branch of Trust Bank and show the deposit slip to the Admission booth.
b.    Payment through any Branch of the Trust Bank. If paid through Branch of Trust Bank or through Pay Order from any Branch of Trust Bank fees to be deposited to:
(1) Academic Fees: Account Name – ‘STUDENT FUND’ Account Number: 0028-0320000144, Trust Bank Limited, Mirpur Branch.
(a)    For Government Service: The Amount to be paid = 85,450.00/- Taka.
(b)    For non-Government Service: The Amount that needs to be paid = 1,03,450.00/- Taka.
(2) Uniform (Dress) Fees: Account Name- ‘MIST MISC FUND’, Account Number: 0028-0320000162, Trust Bank Limited, Mirpur Branch. The Amount needs to be paid = 5,900.00/- Taka (Female) / 6,300.00/- Taka (Male).

(3) Transportation Fees: Account Name- ‘TRANSPORTATION
DEVELOPMENT FEE FUND
’, Account Number: 0028-0320000411, Trust Bank Limited, Mirpur Branch. The Amount to be paid = 1,800.00 Taka. Thereafter, submit the ‘Deposit Slip’ to MIST Account Booth.

Medical: Selected candidates will be medically examined in MIST Medical Center during admission. Following medical reports from any reputed hospital/clinic/diagnostic center has to be submitted during the medical checkup at MIST Medical Booth:
a.    Blood Group.
b.    Urine R/E.
c.    HBsAg.

Department Choice: ‘Document Receipt & Department Choice Form (IJGADM-004)’ should be filled up by the candidate and must be submitted to Admission Booth during admission. Department will be allocated after completing the admission process for the candidates according to their merit and individual choices.

Notice for Waiting List Candidates: If any seat remains vacant after completion of admission, candidates from the waiting list will get a chance. Necessary notification will be web-hosted on 25 March 2022 at the MIST official website (www.mist.ac.bd).
