Preliminary to Masters (regular) Admission Circular 2022 has been published. Application for Preliminary to Masters (Regular) admission of National University degree students has started. Admission Circular for Preliminary to Masters (Regular) program for 2019-2020 academic year has been published on the website of National University.
The online preliminary application for the Preliminary to Masters (Regular) Admission Program in the 2019-2020 academic year in the affiliated colleges of the National University will start from 4 pm on March 17 and will continue till 12 noon on March 29, 2022.
Preliminary to Masters (regular) Admission
Interested candidates from National University Admissions Website (www.nu.ac.bd/admissions) are required to fill up the initial application form online and pay the initial application fee of Rs. Must be submitted within. Classes for students enrolled in this educational program will begin on May 10, 2022. Detailed information regarding admission can be found from the Prospectus / Important Notice option of the Admissions website of the National University.
Students who have obtained a minimum of 45% marks in the traditional method or a minimum CGPA of 2.25 in the grading and credit system will be able to apply for the three year term graduation (pass) regular examination from 2015 to 2019 under the National University. In addition, the applicant must be admitted to the Preliminary to Masters (Regular) program as a subject with 400 marks at the undergraduate (pass) level and must have a minimum of 40% marks or GPA 2.00 in grading and credit system.
Students who have passed the graduation (pass) private / certificate course examination from the National University will not be able to apply for the Preliminary to Masters (Regular) Admission Program in the academic year 2019-2020. However, all these students will get the opportunity to register in the next 2019-2020 academic year subject to the eligibility and conditions of application in the Preliminary to Masters (Private) program.
Students who have passed the four year term graduation (honors) examination from 2015 to 2019 under the National University will not be able to apply for the Preliminary to Masters (Regular) program. However, all these students can apply for registration in the Preliminary to Masters (Private) program by participating in the certificate course examination and getting minimum 45% marks or GPA 2.25.
No student who has passed / studied Masters 1st Part / Preliminary to Masters (Regular / Private) examination from National University or is currently studying in any other educational program will be able to apply for Preliminary to Masters (Regular) program in the academic year 2019-2020. To this end, I am not currently enrolled / studying in any other educational program under National University / any other university. In case of dual admission, as per the provisions of the National University, I will be bound to accept the decision regarding cancellation of both admission and registration. ” If a student gets double admission by violating the said condition, both his admission and registration will be considered canceled.
The National University Authority reserves the right to cancel the admission and registration of the applicant if any information / picture of the applicant in the initial application form is proved to be untrue, incorrect or incomplete.
Preparation of Preliminary to Masters Merit List and Distribution of Subjects
Candidates applying for the Preliminary to Masters (Regular) Admission Program in the 2019-2020 academic year will be assigned a separate merit list for each college based on the results of the graduation (pass) examination.
If the merit score of two or more applicants in the same subject in the same college is equal then the merit order will be determined by giving priority to the lesser of these applicants.
Admission activities will be completed in phases through merit list, quota and release slip.
• Relevant colleges will be able to see the results of the subject merit list using User ID, Password and OTP. Applicants will be able to know the result of merit list through SMS (type nus space> atmp <space> roll no and send to 16222) or directly on the admission website (www.nu.ac.bd/admissions) from Applicant Login option or from college.
